Tourist Season

tourist season!

Unfortunately for us Bostonians, when someone says that it's "Tourist Season," it doesn't mean you can shoot them. And it's really too bad.

Working in the Financial District, they don't bother you too much. If you stay away from Long Wharf and Faneuil Hall, you'll probably miss them altogether.

But God forbid you work in Copley. For they are there. Getting lost and crowding the sidewalk outside of Shaw's waiting for the Duck Boats (if I hear one more person quack, it's going to be Duck Season ...). Walking oh-so-slowly down Boylston and Newbury Streets. Huddling around so you can't get past them. Actually waiting for the crosswalk.

It's sickening, I tell you. Just sickening.

I love summer in Boston, but this makes it just a bit less bearable ...
