Cold Pigeons

I kind of hate pigeons. They're big, a lot of them look kind of dirty and possibly diseased, and when a whole bunch of them are all together, eating that bag of whatever you just dropped on the ground, it's just sort of gross.

But individually, they can be interesting, I guess. Case in point:



I saw this little guy in the Common last Friday -- it was cold and I had taken a quick walk around just to get my blood moving during my lunch hour. Lo and behold, pigeons were huddled down at the corner. I bent down to get a shot of one, and he came up right near me, probably expecting food.

He looks cold, eh?
